Here is a couple of pics showing what I'm doing with Smiling Jack.

If all goes well, there will be a costume with a face makeup and a latex head (or more, long beard, short beard...) with a body makeup, so you'll be able to use the costume with any actors (no other latex heads, just actors wearing makeup) and use the latex head with any other costumes.

Pic one is what Jack was looking when I imported him in blender:

Pic two shows what I've done to it so far (the arm placement was done by MikeDBoing)...

After.jpg

which lead me to my next question...how do i or is there a way to make the lighting to work on the bluescreen mod like set21 for example? is there another mod that could help? i think i use one in my kane and lynch : blood brothers movie and it only effect the actors not the props that i put on set...

"Christof Romuald" was a great playable character from the Vampire the Masquerade Redemption game...a good high virtue guy but also an ancient vampire who roam the modern day world of darkness..

i wish i could cast that "Bucky Barnes" character model as Christof... *just a latex head

Couldn't these latex head be made with Starmaker base, even if they don't look exactly like Morpheus or Bucky Barnes or I don't know who...

As long as they have the details you want... (cap, goatee, glasses, pony tails etc, etc, etc)

When I'm done with Smiling Jack, I'll make one just to see...  It would be faster and easier to make for sure and I'm not convince they wouldn't look at least as good...

I found the easiest way to deal with this issue is to just export the footage and clean it up in post.  HitFilm 3's Color Correction Wheels effect is perfect for this.

HitFilm can fix tons of issues in TM; I used the Clone Stamp tool to fix a clipping issue where an actor's hand went through a car door in the new episode of Gangs of Chicago.  The Express version is free, you really should try it.  HitFilm 3 Express - Free video software - HitFilm.com

Sorry, but I can't take credit for that, it's the model from the game, so I have no part in that.

I've changed a few things on the mesh, the most noticeable is the neck, it's completely different and now should fit with every TheMovies costumes that can use latex heads, also made him a chin so I can make a latex head with a shorter beard, changed the eyeballs, the rest is just some minor tweak here and there...

I also remapped part of the face, the texture fits better and I worked on the texture as well.

oh, i get it...basically you "connect the dots" so that the face can fit and animate as TheMovies costumes...see i thought that you have to reshape the model from scratch and than re scale them to fit into TheMovies...but than thats also true... :P

first i thought you kinda miss his vulture bird look..than i realize that the picture dont have any long beard on.... i think you got it..

It was to show the short beard version.

For existing models, here is what need to be done...

Step 1

step1.jpg

Scaling, rotating.

Step 2

step2.jpg

Positioning everything so it's as close as possible to a TheMovies game costume.

Step 3

step3.jpg

Joining the mesh to this rig, transfering weights from a TheMovies game costume to the new costume and the head...

Step 4

Remaping, texturing, separating the head from the body so it can be made into a latex head

Step 5

Tweaking everything and export into the game (I can export some things myself, but with some I still need help, being on Mac, I don't have all the tools)

so you do have to reshape and re scale things to fit into the TheMovies game costumes than...what software tools was it for windows? i was wondering if i could give it a try... does it involve a lot of calculating or is it more like a free form molding a statue? because i see a lot of mods for TheMovies out there...like props for example, like chairs and weapons...their all scaled to fit the game perfectly
