I know some of us are curious about blender and it capabilities but a lot of tutorials hard to follow or find.

From another site, it was suggested for this site which I found easy to follow, and have none other than this one. So check this out site out if you want to learn blender, I have watched the some of the tutorials and they provide enough info without being overwhelming. Though it on and off for me but I know certain things. Still trying to learn it.

that's a great site you put up there. I'm sure most folks know about http://blendernation.com/and http://blendercookie.com/ , but just incase figured I'd mention em. love me some blender.

Also if you're making a film in blender and need some quick props, sets and characters, etc...  Then there's http://www.blendswap.com/which is a site where folks put up and can download all kinds of different blender made meshes. textures and the like with different licenses. most being some version of creative commons.

Horrors!  I just find out about this today and when I went to check it out, I see there is an announcement that the site is going to close on May 1, 2017.

What a shame.  I plan to grab as many files as I can before it disappears forever.  Unfortunately, the downloads are coming in rather slowly.

Follow up note:

I see the author has uploaded this stuff to youtube.  https://www.youtube....user/darsan6214

Maybe no need to panic.
