https://withoutabox.com/ has a nifty searchable database of film festivals and contests (film and screenwriting and others) throughout the world. Sign up (free) and look for places to submit your latest masterpiece. Worth a monthly visit.

I use them and find them very convenient as many submissions can be done completely online, including a preview copy of your movie (called an online screener). You define a project for your movie where you enter relevant information. That is a bit of work, but you only have to do it once. After that you have all the information ready to submit. Without A Box will even tell you if your film is eligible. I have currently submissions for my two latest movies as well as for a screenplay, so we'll see what happens.
