Toggle %s Welcome

Welcome to TMUnderground

TMUnderground is a creative community of animated filmmakers, voice actors, 3D modellers and musicians.

We began as a community in July 2008, though the core members had been part of The Movies Online community for 2+ years before that. The original goal was to provide a place for members of the TMO community to release their work, collaborate, and discuss with like-minded members as The Movies Online closed. As time passed, we became a community dedicated to any engine for creating animated films, as well as the always-essential collaboration of voice actors, modellers and musicians that help the filmmaker achieve his or her vision.

Our philosophy is simple: It's not what engine you use to create your film, it's what you create with that engine.

We have filmmakers who use The Movies, iClone, Moviestorm, Muvizu, Second Life, Daz/Poser and various game engines. As new technologies emerge, we welcome a chance to see what can be created with them.

Use the navigation bar above to explore the many aspects of TMUnderground, from our forums to our movie site to TMOA, our internet radio station. We also include links to our past, including the TMO Review Archive and the complete archives of around 3000 hours of TMOA radio broadcasts.

I got a warning when I went to login that the site was not secure (see attached photo).
Wondering if your certificate expired?  I know the one for my site needs updating so maybe yours lapsed.

I had been thinking of this for some time and am wondering if it possible to do it, is there a way to link all social media under the TMU umbrella and someone post something then it sent to everyone?

So say a movie is uploaded TMU is their way to add maybe notification saying a new movie that been released both on forums, movie site, youtube, facebook groups, etc. while connecting all the accounts together.

The second thing I think we shou ...

Is the movies game dead? I remember it was one of the best games i 've ever played. I created a couple of movies. I uploaded two of them here also. Do we know anything about this game or any other engine similar to the game?

Hope someone's still making movies with this engine...

it was the easiest and the best for me.

Toggle %s RPoshard is THE voice of the Wogglebug

Posted By:  Wogglebuglover @ 02 September 2017 - 03:18 PM

Richard Poshard was (and still is) THE voice for the Wogglebug in my vision for my movies and franchise. It was all because of him I found a clear vision for the character for my movie series and even found for him a vision that conveys exactly the way I have always seen him in a picture book artist who draws an image of him that looks like how his voice sounds.

Okay I want to say I have been talking with muvizu about them comming over here to upload their creations while there fourms having helpful hints like coblaratiion between the two. From what I heard they like you guys but are still unsure right now so I thought it be good oppuruity for TMU to take it offering to muvizu and muvizu for TMu like collbration between the two where they upload their creations here and get new ideas and stuff while keeping relative fourms there.

Toggle %s Chat

Posted By:  Ken White @ 22 April 2016 - 06:49 PM

For those who were at the recent Without Words broadcast know, the TMU chat was down.

This was the last hurrah for 123FlashChat, as far as I'm concerned. Their support was, if you'll pardon the expression, shitty, and if they can't even keep their servers up, there's no point in dealing with them.

So I've shut them down and we will be moving to Addonchat. There's no IPBoard integration right now (though I'm going to be talking to ...

Hi All...

I stumbled across this site, I can hardly remember how.  Do you know how hard it is to find a gathering of people who have an interest in this kind of work?  Of course you do.  Glad to meet you.  I'll need a little time to get the feel of this place, and to get familiar with the collection of vids you've got here.

(I see I should've posted somewhere else, but I don't know how to delete this post...)
